Management went directly to the field to review work progress, ensure QHSE standards are applied, and support operational reliability.
Balikpapan, August 2026 – The management of Adikari Wisesa Indonesia carried out a Management Walk Through (MWT) in the operational area of Kilang Pertamina Internasional (KPI), Balikpapan. The visit was held to directly review how maintenance work is being carried out in the field.
Three Main Objectives
The MWT aims to review work progress, ensure the application of QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) standards, and support operational reliability in the work area. A direct review lets management see field conditions as a whole, rather than through reports alone.
More Than Just Monitoring
Management emphasized that the MWT does not stop at a supervisory function. The activity is also a tangible expression of care for personnel in the field. According to management, the spearhead of every project’s success lies with the engineers and technicians who work directly in the operational area.
Through direct dialogue with the team, management can understand the challenges faced in the field. That dialogue also ensures that the safety and support the team needs are met throughout the work.
Asset Reliability and Safety Go Hand in Hand
Adikari Wisesa Indonesia believes that asset reliability and operational excellence must go hand in hand with personnel safety. Synergy between management and the field team is seen as the key to delivering maintenance services that are high-quality, safe, and sustainable.
